What I’m Working On
Over the past few weeks, I spend some time sewing. I love reading and have been wanting some book co…
I have a special love for yarn. I like to call myself a yarn collector.
I’ve been working with fiber for so long that I have built up a very significant stash. Over the years, with us traveling, as a family, I have learned that it was important for me to have the yarns that I desired to use, on hand.
As we journey together, you will come to see how much I love yarn. I’ll share my interest with you in many different ways.

Various patterns are available online and as I find different one, I will probably post information about that here or in my community.
These patterns help us to create different garments and items, without having to learn the ins and outs of being a designer.
Taking this short cut is a really blessing. Sometimes we can modify the patterns, but often times, there is no real need to do so.
If you are interested, you can find more patterns on Raverly. The link to connect with me on the platform is below.

My projects often seem to be endless. I am always aiming to acheive a new goal.
Most recently I have desired to create a wardrobe full of handmade items for me, by me.
This goal includes things like handmade sweaters, shawls, socks… I even hope to venture into the land of sewing garments soon.

Now you understand
“Phenomenal Woman” by Maya Angelo
Just why my head’s not bowed.
I don’t shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing,
It ought to make you proud.
I say, It’s in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need for my care.
’Cause I’m a woman Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.
